ADM adds milling capacity in Minneapolis May 21, 2009
The Archer Daniels Midland Co. plans to expand the flour-milling capacity at its Nokomis processing plant at Hiawatha Avenue and E. 35th Street in Minneapolis. The mill will expand its white-flour capacity by converting one of its existing farina production units, the company said. The conversion is expected to be done early this summer. ADM is also adding capacity at plants in Spokane, Wash., and Los Angeles. ADM, based in Decatur, Ill., is the nation's largest flour miller.
